ROOT WHOLE BODY SPA ATTENDANT
Looking for an organized, responsible, and communicative professional passionate about holistic wellness and creating positive experiences.
Division/Department: Spa
Reporting Relationship: Operations
Compensation Structure: Hourly
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday / Shift times may vary from AM to PM depending on business needs.
At Root Whole Body, we believe our guests select us because of our caring, attentive, and clean environment. The Spa Attendant is responsible for protecting the customer experience from welcoming and preparing guests for their appointments to supporting them through their treatment(s) until they checkout. They are responsible for keeping the lounges, restrooms, and other guest areas neat, clean, and stocked with all amenities, as well as attending to individual guest needs to make their experience at Root the most seamless and supportive experience for their personal health and well being.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining a clean, sterilized spa environment.
  • Launder towels, linens, bathrobes, and restock spa amenities/supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and preparedness to accommodate guests.
  • Conduct 30-minute spa walk-throughs ensuring common areas, locker rooms and treatment rooms are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Clean and sanitize toilets, showers, amenities rooms, countertops, sinks, and empty trash receptacles.
  • Familiar with common cleaning policies and procedures
  • Provide spa tours (when needed)
  • Understands basic housekeeping fundamentals

Required Qualifications:
  • One-year housekeeping experience
  • Clean professional appearance
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for at least 6 hours to lift, push and pull at least 20 pounds
  • Maintain a positive and caring attitude towards guests
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with guests
