This position reports to:

Marketing & Sales Manager

The role is passionate about technical sales, customer relationship, and promotion of electrification solutions in the field? At ABB, we are looking for an Application Engineer and Promoter to work in the Electrification division, focusing on serving the Southern region of Brazil.

This position will be responsible for developing and executing technical-commercial activities with end customers, engineering offices, and partners, promoting ABB's portfolio, identifying new electrification project opportunities, and building long-term relationships, interfacing with global teams and dynamic field operations.

Responsibilities
  • Implement proactive promotional activities with the target audience, including technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars, and solution development for end customers, engineering offices, and technical consultants.
  • Prospect new electrification projects in the Southern region, conducting regular visits, tracking opportunity status, and analyzing market interaction results.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with customers and strategic partners, ensuring they are well-informed about the portfolio, solutions, and benefits of ABB products and services.
  • Provide technical support to the target audience, answering questions, performing electrical calculations, and supporting project development with engineering institutes and technical consultants.
  • Conduct and organize technical training for customers, partners, and engineering offices on ABB products, systems, and solutions.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience during all stages of promotional and technical-commercial support activities.
  • Communicate ABB's offerings and strategies to the target audience in a clear, assertive, and aligned manner with company guidelines.
  • Manage administrative activities related to the technical promotion process, preparing reports and updating records as needed by the organization.
Requirements
  • Complete higher education in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation, or related fields.
  • Previous experience with industrial clients, focusing on the prospection of new electrification projects.
  • Knowledge of electrification products.
  • Availability to work externally in Rio Grande do Sul.
Differentials
  • Experience with CRM Salesforce.
  • Experience with automation projects.
  • Advanced English, with the ability to interact with global teams.
  • Portfolio of clients and established relationships in the Southern region, especially in Rio Grande do Sul.
  • Previous experience in serving engineering offices, technical consultancies, and industrial end customers.
  • Ability to conduct technical training and presentations for different audiences.
