Our Banking Operations Integration and Distribution team is seeking a Source Code and Release Management Analystย to play a key role in supporting banking system releases. In this position, you'll prepare and manage release media by pulling required source code and data from customer banking environments, validating updates, and packaging materials for secure distribution and cloud download. You'll ensure each release includes the correct custom code, compare materials across release versions for accuracy, and maintain media libraries and operational documentation. This role also provides the opportunity to support customers by responding to releaserelated questions and resolving cases, making attention to detail and clear communication essential. If you enjoy structured, technical work that directly supports reliable banking operations, this role offers meaningful impact behind the scenes.

This is a remote position and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Lenexa, KS; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO.

The salary range for this position is $38,650-$58,150 and will be determined based on location and experience level.

All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity. ย 

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Pull custom source code from customer sites.
  • Maintains magnetic media library.
  • Routes materials to and from the library.
  • Maintains operations documentation.
  • Compares printed lists of information between releases.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.ย 

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Information Technology experience, supporting systems, applications, or IT operations in a structured environmentย 
  • Handson experience working with iSeries (IBM i) systemsย 
  • Experience pulling, validating, or managing source code or technical release materialsย 
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to compare materials across releases and ensure accuracyย 
  • Ability to maintain technical and operational documentation and follow defined release processesย 
  • Clear communication skills to support customer questions and resolve releaserelated cases

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Previous experience with Jack Henry products and servicesย 
  • Background in banking, financial services, or regulated environmentsย 
  • Experience with release management, media preparation, or distribution processesย 
  • Familiarity with cloud file transfers or cloudbased distribution platformsย 
  • Experience working with legacy media or system libraries (e.g., magnetic media)
