Job Overview Job Type: Regular Work Location: Dallas, TX 75207 Schedule: Monday – Friday Pay: $60,000 per year The Learning Systems Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging learning experiences that drive measurable performance outcomes. This role blends instructional design, learning technology management, and facilitation, with a strong emphasis on creativity, interactivity, and data‐driven improvement. Responsibilities LMS Development & Management: Build, configure, and maintain LMS platforms, including course structure, user roles, learning paths, and reporting dashboards. Administer ongoing LMS: updates, integrations, and troubleshooting. Optimize learner experience through thoughtful platform design and navigation. Interactive Course Creation: Design and develop engaging, learner‐centered courses using sound instructional design principles. Create interactive content such as simulations, scenario‐based learning, assessments, microlearning modules, and multimedia assets. Translate complex concepts into clear, accessible, and compelling learning experiences. Apply creative design thinking to coursework to increase learner engagement and retention. Completion Metrics & Learning Analytics: Define, track, and manage course completion metrics and learner progress. Analyze learning data to assess effectiveness, engagement, and knowledge transfer. Provide insights and recommendations to improve course design and training outcomes. Ensure compliance with required training completion and documentation standards. Content Strategy & Continuous Improvement: Maintain and manage a learning content calendar; refresh and iterate on existing coursework based on feedback, performance data, and evolving business needs. Stay current on learning technologies, instructional design trends, and adult learning best practices. Qualifications Required: Experience in instructional design, training, or learning and development. Required: Hands‐on experience building and managing LMS platforms. Required: Proficiency in creating interactive and multimedia learning content. Required: Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design models. Required: Ability to analyze learning data and translate insights into improvements. Preferred: Experience with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Rise, or similar). Preferred: Graphic design, video, or multimedia production experience. Preferred: Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, or similar learning standards. Competencies: Creative and visual thinker with strong attention to detail; highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable balancing structure with creativity.
