Our Systems Engineers do a lot of amazing things, but for this role in particular you will:
* Design security architectures based on requirements from your analysis of adversary threats and proposed countermeasures
* Implement and test security countermeasures according to the guidance provided by the U.S. Government
* Work with Security State of the Art (S-SOTA) technologies
* Provide our customers with sophisticated, defense-in-depth security solutions
* Lead a Team or SectionBecause of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full- time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * This role involves understanding systems engineering techniques and processes and requires a bachelor's degree plus ten or more years of work experience.

* Firmware development for COTS S-SOTA components such as Xilinx or Microsemi FPGAs
* Applying secure coding practices, securing operating systems, and virtualization
* Implementing and configuring security protocols
* Model-Based Systems Engineering using Cameo or MagicDraw
* Developing positive customer relationships
* Product design development and design analysis for manufacturability and maintainability Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $145049 - $246584 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
