Job description

The Solutions Engineering Analyst reports to the Director and will be supporting the development of tailored solutions for new and existing global opportunities. The role will partner with Business Leaders, Business Development, Account Executives, Workstream and Operational Leaders to help support strategies for business opportunities.
** This is a hybrid role and will be required to be in the Miami office 3 days per week ***
Job Responsibilities
  • Support the design of client-driven solutions by executing on unique business solutions for new and existing client base, strategic initiatives, and new product innovations. 40%
  • Be a resource in closing and implementing business while supporting the Director, Solutions Engineering in creating the technical Blueprint that will serve as the foundation of the client solution.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in support of the AE developing the business requirements with the PM and/or Implementation Manager.
  • Support the sales team in responding to Client RFPs and Proposals
  • Partners with Product Development and Compliance to ensure we operate within regulatory guidelines and internal policy.
  • Has Business Acumen and develops an understanding of Assurant's capabilities, products, and systems.
  • Develops and cultivates a strong working relationship with other functional areas within the company. Understand their goals and objectives while balancing the priorities of all parties involved in order to meet the business objectives. Ensures there is good communication and coordination with other functional units. 5%
  • Partners with International teams on assigned worldwide client opportunities. Establishes and maintains the working rapport necessary to develop cooperation and effectively integrate area services into the company's overall business related system. 15%
  • Supports the communication of business solution design of client projects in connection with service delivery, such as new client installs, new product installs, or new service installs. 30%
  • Participates on committees and in programs that are identified as significant opportunities for the business. 5%
  • Partners with key stakeholders to integrate services into the company's overall business related system. 5%

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors' Degree or Technical Degree.
  • 2+ years experience in either a client management, project management, product development, data analytics, business analysis, management information systems or sales role.
  • 2+ years experience in technical platforms (with Assurant a plus), system interoperability, and suite of products and services.
