The Role
This is a hands-on, project-based internship where you'll work directly with Typeface's Customer Success and Product/Engineering teams to design and deliver real solution architectures for enterprise customers. Over 12 weeks, you'll go from understanding customer requirements to building and demonstrating working GenAI solutions - with meaningful impact from day one.
This role is ideal for Masters or PhD students with a strong foundation in AI/ML, software engineering, or enterprise systems who want to apply their research and technical skills to real-world, production-grade challenges.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Solutions Architects and Engagement Managers to understand enterprise customer requirements and co-design GenAI solutions
- Prototype AI-driven workflows and agents tailored to specific customer use cases
- Build integrations with customer systems (CMS, DAM, marketing automation, analytics) and platforms such as Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Adobe Experience Cloud
- Apply an experimentation-first mindset - build proof points quickly, iterate on feedback, and demonstrate tangible wins
- Document architectures, prompts, patterns, and best practices for reuse across customer engagements
- Contribute findings and field-proven insights back to Product and Engineering to help shape the Typeface roadmap
What You'll Bring
- Currently enrolled in a Masters or PhD program in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama, Gemini) and/or diffusion models - whether through coursework, research, or personal projects
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and LLM application development
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownership
- Bonus: experience with enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Adobe, Google Workspace) or content/marketing tech stacks
