Job description

The Solar Construction Site Supervisor will oversee large commercial solar installation projects, directly managing a large team of workers. This role requires safety compliance and efficient site operations while regularly traveling to multiple project sites. The ideal candidate brings strong construction supervision experience, expertise in solar panel installation, and thorough knowledge of OSHA and NEC standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of large commercial solar construction sites
  • Directly manage and coordinate sub-contractors, suppliers and crew
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and NEC safety standards
  • Monitor site progress and productivity to meet project timelines
  • Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and safety
  • Daily communication and reporting between field teams and project management
  • Travel regularly to multiple solar installation sites

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction Management or related field


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of construction supervision experience
  • OSHA-30 Certification
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Experience with solar panel installation
  • Strong background in construction safety practices
