LPL Solar is a self-perform solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) company headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, managing long-standing relationships with some of the nation's largest utilities and IPPs (Independent Power Producers) in the U.S. Our leadership team has over 70 GW of solar construction experience over 550+ projects in fourteen states and the Province of Ontario, Canada.
Job Title: Superintendent
Industry: Utility Scale EPC Solar Construction
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee utility scale solar construction projects. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with project managers, construction crews, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of solar construction projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide on-site leadership and supervision to construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
2. Coordinate and schedule construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
3. Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential issues or risks.
5. Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement construction plans and strategies.
6. Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost control measures are in place.
