Brief Description of Role:
If you enjoy designing innovative systems and solving real-world problems, you'll have fun working with us! Co-ops and Interns at NLign get the opportunity to work on projects that make a difference in a wide range of exciting fields. Potential work responsibilities include:
  • Design, implement, test, debug, and document complex software applications.
  • Write efficient, modular, and well-documented software code.
  • Coordinate with teammates to define and implement software requirements.
  • Implement, test, debug, and document complex software applications.
  • Report on software development status as well as demonstrate software to customers.
  • Fulfill NLign product quality by tracking defects reported by internal users and customers.

Responsibilities:
At NLign, co-op and intern students get the opportunity to work closely with our researchers to help develop and implement cutting-edge technology. The specific tasks will vary based on the project and the individual's skills, interests, knowledge, and aptitude, but will involve developing innovative solutions to solve customer problems.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Permanent US work authorization without the need for sponsorship now, or in the future.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Preferred fields include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualification:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with a programming language, especially C++, JavaScript, and Java.
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Unit testing tools and methodologies knowledge, and experience.
