Technical Writer – Industrial Equipment

Brooklyn Park, MN | Direct Hire | $75,000–$100,000

Konik is partnering with an innovative manufacturer of advanced laser-processing equipment to add a Technical Writer to its engineering team. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining customer-facing technical documentation supporting complex equipment used primarily within the aerospace industry.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys learning how technology works, translating complex information into clear documentation, and collaborating with engineering, service, operations, and product teams. This position offers a high level of ownership and autonomy, with the opportunity to influence documentation processes and support future digital content initiatives.

Technical Writer Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain technical documentation including equipment manuals, installation guides, service documentation, and customer-facing materials.
  • Collaborate with engineering, service, operations, applications, and product teams to gather technical information and translate it into clear, user-friendly documentation.
  • Manage document updates related to product changes, software releases, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Ensure documentation meets applicable industry standards, including ANSI, CE, and ISO requirements.
  • Develop internal training materials, service bulletins, and supporting technical content.
