As a technical lead, you will play a key role in the Patient Digital Next team by designing, building, testing, and deploying the next generation of mobile and web applications for our patients and teammates.

We are seeking a technical lead with proven public cloud experience (GCP) who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise scale solutions to support the organization's business strategy and goals . The technical lead will be responsible for working with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to create, plan, and manage projects from inception to production release. Candidate will also be responsible for guiding and mentoring other junior developers.
Job Description:
  • Design, development, implement, and support of various Clinical System Applications.
  • Work closely with our business product owners on an Agile team to fully understand requirements, provide feedback, and request clarification as needed.
  • Work with other engineers on a collaborative Agile team to deliver code on an ongoing basis.
  • Review requirements and data models and translate into responsible applications and architecture
  • Conduct design and code reviews with extended team to ensure that code meets standards
  • Support test execution including system level and integration tests
  • Track and resolve software defects
  • Work with QA and CM team for code build/releases, test case design and defect resolution
  • Work with Team Lead/Project Manager/Architect for planning, estimation, documentation and status reporting
  • Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be able to adapt and contribute to a fast paced and agile application development
  • Adhere to project schedules, proactively resolve and or escalate issue to management
  • Healthcare experience a plus
  • Experience with working with offshore teams a plus
  • Demonstrated experience with bringing multiple products to market

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:
  • GCP Cloud Services: Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL (Postgres) Cloud Storage, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Datastore, Cloud Memorystore, Cloud firestore.
  • Platform/Infrastructure: Terraform, Helm
  • Skills in languages: Angular and Java
  • Professional development experience with SQL and NoSql databases
  • Object Oriented Design and Development experience
  • Understand of software design patterns
  • Applicant must work well under pressure
  • Understand the SAFE Agile and Continuous Discovery Delivery framework
  • Knowledge of software craftsmanship and Agile best practices
  • Knowledge of application development on Android or iOS platforms
  • Mobile UI/UX design
  • Familiar with microservice architecture principle. System architecture experience is a plus
  • Unit testing frameworks
  • Software Debugging
  • AI experience - Knowledge building AI agents via Gemini/Vertex AI is a preferred
  • Experience building AI Automation/ automation within CICD portfolio
  • Hands on experience working in the mobile application space (native or ionic capacitor) preferred
  • Should have ability to work across bigger portfolio (Dev teams, Product, etc)
  • Should be hands on to be able to code and also provide technical guidance to the teams

The Salary Range for the role is $98,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year.
If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour
Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.63/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
