An IT Technical Architect II is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of the organization's technical solutions and will serve as the technical expert on solution design, development, and implementation requirements to address business needs. The IT Technical Architect II works closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and IT development and operations teams to develop, maintain, and enhance our enterprise architecture. Critical for success is a deep understanding of enterprise-level software development, infrastructure, and security, as well as experience with modern technologies, public cloud platforms and industry best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills are key. Must be able to work in a team environment.

  • Strong architectural understanding of zero trust network architectures (ZTNA)
  • Expertise in SD-WAN architecture and hybrid cloud networking
  • Advanced Route, switch, wireless design and refinement abilities (BGP, OSPF, etc..)
  • Firewall management, multi-vendor skills preferred (IPSEC, S2S, VPN, etc...)
  • Network segmentation and East/West traffic management
  • Network Access Control platform experience
  • Strong documentation and project management skills (design, execute, maintain)

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; and 4-6 years of experience as an IT Technical Architect or similar role, or an equivalent combination
  • Experience with enterprise-level infrastructure design, security, and performance best practices
  • Experience with project management and life cycle management methodologies

Desired Qualifications:
