TAS operates at the intersection of strategy, architecture, and delivery. We combine deep platform expertise with the rigor of an enterprise consulting practice to design solutions that eliminate fragmentation, strengthen operational workflows, and support long-term digital transformation across enterprise, state, and federal organizations.
Role Overview

TAS is seeking a Solution Architect to serve as the technical lead for a high-visibility digital modernization initiative supporting a Texas state agency. This role is responsible for end-to-end solution architecture for a secure, scalable, and accessible CRM and case-management platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service and the Microsoft Power Platform.

The ideal candidate demonstrates deep, hands-on expertise with Dynamics 365, Azure, and contemporary security frameworks, and can clearly articulate architectural decisions to technical teams, executive leadership, and public-sector stakeholders.
The Solution Architect operates within TASs prime-contractor delivery model, maintaining architectural continuity, technical decision authority, and accountability throughout the program lifecycle. This role provides technical leadership within a formally governed Agile delivery environment and guides highly skilled delivery teams to ensure a configuration-led, compliant, and maintainable implementation.
This is a full-time, fully remote role, operating within an onshore delivery model.
Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead and solution authority for a Dynamics 365 Customer Servicebased modernization initiative
  • Provide architectural leadership within a formally governed Agile delivery model, supporting sprint planning, backlog refinement, defect triage, and acceptance readiness
  • Lead and guide a team of senior developers, ensuring configuration-first, best-practice-driven implementation and minimizing unnecessary customization
  • Own end-to-end solution architecture, including system design, data flows, integrations, environments, and documentation
  • Define, implement, and maintain the architectural security posture, including identity, access control, data protection, and compliance alignment
  • Architect and oversee integrations with third-party and government platforms, including Indigov/GovDelivery, DIR telephony, and legacy CTS historical data
  • Collaborate closely with Program Management to support delivery planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation
  • Lead technical design reviews, architecture walkthroughs, and decision forums
  • Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and decision artifacts
  • Ensure all solution designs comply with Texas Administrative Code (TAC) 213 and Section 508 accessibility requirements
  • Support accessibility validation, testing, and acceptance evidence preparation in coordination with QA and State stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience

  • U.S.-based candidate (onshore delivery requirement)
  • 812+ years of professional experience in solution architecture, enterprise systems, or CRM platform delivery
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform in complex enterprise or public-sector environments
Prior experience leading enterprise or public-sector CRM architectures
  • Proven experience serving as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead on enterprise CRM and case-management implementations
  • Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with:
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service
    • Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
    • Microsoft Azure, including identity management, hosting, and security services
    • Azure DevOps (ADO) for sprint management, QA execution, and defect tracking
  • Proven ability to lead Agile delivery teams and manage senior technical resources
  • Strong understanding of modern security frameworks, identity management, and data protection principles
  • Experience designing scalable constituent communications and case-management solutions
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong documentation, architectural governance, and technical decision-making skills
Preferred Experience

  • Experience delivering solutions in state, federal, or public-sector environments
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven and accessibility-regulated solution design
  • Experience supporting large-scale, highly visible government programs
Public-sector experience is strongly desired, but not required.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $140,000 $160,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Benefits: Full health benefits, PTO, 401(k), and a fully remote work environment
