What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Fireplace Sales Representative, and why are they important?

To excel as a Remote Fireplace Sales Representative, you need a solid understanding of fireplace products, sales techniques, and customer service, often supported by experience in retail or home improvement sales. Familiarity with CRM software, e-commerce platforms, and virtual communication tools is typically required. Outstanding interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to build trust remotely set top performers apart. These skills are vital for effectively identifying customer needs, closing deals, and fostering long-term client relationships in a remote sales environment.

How to make $1000 a week remote?

Remote fireplace sales professionals can earn $1000 or more weekly by building a strong client base, demonstrating product knowledge, and effectively closing sales. Success often depends on commission rates, sales volume, and customer outreach skills, with some earning higher through consistent effort and online marketing tools.

What are remote fireplace sales?

Remote fireplace sales involve selling fireplaces, stoves, and related accessories to customers through online platforms, phone calls, or virtual consultations rather than in-person visits to a showroom. Sales representatives guide customers in selecting the right products, answer questions about installation and safety, and often provide support with orders and after-sales service. This role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to use digital tools for customer interaction. Remote fireplace sales professionals typically work for retailers, manufacturers, or specialized e-commerce stores.

What are some common challenges faced in remote fireplace sales, and how can I overcome them?

One common challenge in remote fireplace sales is building trust and rapport with customers when interactions are entirely virtual. To overcome this, it's important to leverage video calls, provide detailed product demonstrations, and offer personalized recommendations based on the customer's needs. Additionally, staying up to date with product knowledge and responding promptly to inquiries can help set you apart. Effective collaboration with installation teams and customer service representatives also ensures a smooth sales process and positive customer experience.

Location: Everett, MA | Work Type: On site or Fully Remote | Pay: $70,000 to $95,000

Step into an estimating role where the projects are complex, custom, and genuinely impressive.

Are you an experienced estimator who knows how to read complex plans and build accurate numbers for high end residential work? Do you enjoy custom projects where details matter and the finished product is something people notice? This is an excellent opportunity to join Cumar, a respected natural stone company known for beautiful work in marble and other premium materials for luxury homes.

Why This Opportunity?
  • High End, Custom Work: Estimate premium residential projects involving marble and other natural stone applications, including countertops, fireplaces, bathrooms, walls, ceilings, and other architectural features.
  • Meaningful Project Size: Typical jobs range from $100,000 to $500,000, with occasional million dollar projects as well.
  • Focused Estimating Role: This is a true estimating seat, not a project management role.
  • Flexible Work Setup: Everett-based company, with full remote flexibility for the right person.
  • Strong Team Environment: Work closely with sales, project management, and CAD in a collaborative company that takes pride in craftsmanship and strong relationships.
  • Compensation and Benefits: $70,000 to $95,000, depending on experience, plus health insurance, vacation, holidays, 401(k), and a slightly flexible schedule.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Review architectural plans, drawings, and specifications to build accurate takeoffs and estimates for complex residential projects.
  • Independently handle custom scope across a wide range of natural stone applications, from kitchens and baths to fireplaces, feature walls, ceilings, and other specialty work.
  • Use Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Measure Square, or similar tools to quantify scope and support clear, accurate pricing.
  • Partner with sales, project management, and the CAD team to clarify details, align scope, and support smooth project handoff after award.
  • Manage estimates for projects with real complexity, high expectations, and substantial value.
What You Bring
  • Significant estimating experience in complex, custom construction work.
  • A strong background in high end or luxury residential estimating.
  • The ability to read and handle complex plans independently.
  • Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Measure Square, or similar takeoff and estimating software.
  • A careful, organized approach to scope review, pricing, and detail management.
  • Stone or marble estimating experience is preferred.
  • Experience estimating millwork, cabinetry, tile, or similar custom finish scopes is preferred.
