  • Act as a technical advisor to customers and the sales organization throughout the pre-sales and commercial process.
  • Understand customer business objectives and translate them into clear architectural visions, technical strategies and compelling use cases.

  • Design solutions that enable customers to achieve tangible, data-driven business outcomes.
  • Work across diverse industries and technical environments, adapting architectural recommendations to different business requirements and use cases.
  • Collaborate closely with product teams and advocate for customer needs, feedback and technical requirements.
  • Partner with engineering and other internal stakeholders to help evolve and improve the platform based on real-world customer challenges.
  • Lead technical workshops, seminars, meetups and other community activities to engage developers and technical audiences.
  • Identify opportunities to apply orchestration, integrations, observability and resilience capabilities to complex enterprise applications and workflows.
  • Communicate architectural concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders and build trusted long-term customer relationships.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience spanning software engineering, cloud architecture and/or customer-facing technical roles.
  • Strong understanding of system design patterns, distributed systems, microservices and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations using REST APIs and messaging technologies such as Kafka, MQ or similar systems.
  • Professional proficiency in Java and the ability to engage comfortably with software engineering teams.
  • Understanding of business processes across multiple industries, geographies and technical domains.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to approach complex technical challenges with structured, practical solutions.
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and staying current with evolving approaches to distributed applications and cloud architecture.

  • Experience with workflow orchestration or workflow engines such as Conductor, Camunda or Temporal is a strong advantage.
  • Contributions to open-source software or technical communities are a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 15-20% to meet customers and support business needs.
  • Comfortable working remotely within Central European time zones, ideally GMT+1 or within approximately 1-2 hours of that timezone.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary aligned with local market rates, experience and qualifications.
  • Fully remote working arrangement within Europe.
  • Flexible working hours and a culture built around trust and ownership.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Comprehensive health coverage, including medical, dental and vision care.
  • Support for personal and professional development.
  • Opportunity to work on challenging distributed-systems and cloud-architecture problems with real-world impact.
  • Significant influence over technology direction and product evolution.
  • International and collaborative team environment.
  • Opportunity to work with customers across industries including fintech, healthcare, logistics and cybersecurity.
