As a Software Developer you will play a key role in the development, installation, testing, and maintenance of software systems in order to help our business be more efficient and provide better service in the industry. A Software Developer also participates in requirements gathering and software design.

HERE'S HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Participate in the design of software solutions based on identified needs of the business unit and collaborate with the architecture team to ensure suitable design, patterns, and tools are used.

  • Develop software solutions to resolve business problems according to provided specifications independently or as part of a team of developers.

  • Develop automated unit test suites to test software changes and to ensure they fulfill requirements provided. Collaborate with the quality assurance team and system owners on integration testing of new software.

  • Develop robust and repeatable deployment processes for software applications in an enterprise environment and collaborate with deployment team.

  • Collaborate with business partners and business analyst team in order to develop and provide feedback on proposed business functionality.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing applications in order to restore normal operations in a timely manner.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 2 + years of development experience using C#

  • Web development using JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, Angular, Ajax, JSON, and Web API Architecture.

  • Graphical user interface design experience focusing on responsive and adaptive designs for browser based applications for desktop.

  • Good understanding of database design, development and maintenance practices

  • Good knowledge of n-tier architecture, Microsoft .NET with C#, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server programming, and .Net Core.

  • Good knowledge of Cloud Concepts and familiarity with Azure Cloud Platform.

  • Familiarity with AzureDevOps and DevSecOps practices

Total Direct Compensation:

$72,000 - $88,000

Any pay range is in $CAD. The stated pay range reflects the total expected compensation for this role (e.g., base pay plus any expected incentives or allowances, where applicable)
