Basic electrical/wiring knowledge is required, and previous installation experience is a plus. Candidates must be committed to safety and must have the physical ability to perform the requirements of the job.

Under general direction, this position is responsible for all aspects of scheduling, estimating and performing on-site installation of signage and large format graphics. This includes a variety of lit channel letters and box signs, flat panel substrates, post & panel projects and application of pressure sensitive vinyls according to written instructions. This position must proofread signs and conduct quality assurance to ensure accurate fulfillment of projects. The Sign Installer performs pre-wiring, installation, programming, and maintenance of signs for existing and new clients. He or she will install signs of all sizes and mediums on poles, buildings, billboards, and other structures using a wide range of tools. 

There is a significant degree of customer interaction in this position.  Professional demeanor and appearance are required, along with a customer service focus.

1. Follow instructions to accurately install  a variety of lit channel letters and box signs, flat panel signage, post and panel and full color graphic images in various circumstances.  Interior and Exterior. 

2. Maintain an accurate, written schedule reflecting all installation commitments.  Set and achieve project deadlines.

1. Consult with sales staff  to provide accurate estimates of labor time and to set realistic deadlines. 

2. Maintain strong lines of communication with sales staff and promptly answer messages/questions. Accurately relay project details to sales staff and customers.  

3. Adhere to industry standard safety practices.  Operate all tools and equipment according to specified safety requirements.

1. Lift certification and working at height certifications are essential 

2. Perform advance site visits, obtaining  and relaying necessary information for accurate quoting and production of product.

3. Assist with general sign production duties while not on installations

4. Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchise partner.

5. Help unload and store raw materials; clean and maintain storage areas. 

6. Work on multiple projects simultaneously.

7. Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary.

1. Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

2. Present and maintain a good driving record.  Safely operate all vehicles and promptly report any incidents/infractions.

Our customers’ interaction with the Installation Specialist is the culmination of their experience with us.  The outcome of this experience will absolutely affect their loyalty and overall level of satisfaction. • High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous sign installation experience (2 Years Min)
• Lift and working at heights certification
• Basic LV electrical/wiring knowledge
• Safety and customer service oriented
• Highly professional and dependable
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Familiarity with use of hand tools and power tools
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record

1. Ability to stand/kneel for long periods of time. 

2. Ability to lift 75 or more pounds.

3. Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a surface. 

4. Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high quality work.

5. General familiarity with safe operation of power equipment and general construction tools/methods.

6. Ability to fulfill projects in wide temperature variances and exterior weather conditions.

7. Safely climb ladders/scaffolding and operate hydraulic lift equipment as needed.
