Job description

Join a fast-moving incubation team exploring the future of software experiences across Apple platforms. In this role, you will help design and prototype next-generation applications, intelligent systems, and multimodal experiences that explore emerging technologies including AI-driven interactions and new forms of human-computer interaction. You will collaborate closely with other designers, ML engineers, researchers, and software engineers to rapidly turn ambitious ideas into tangible, high-quality prototypes that help shape future product directions.
We are looking for a Design Prototyper to help shape the future of software experiences across Apple platforms. This role sits at the intersection of interaction design and prototyping engineering. You should have strong interaction and visual design craft, while also being comfortable building interactive prototypes using Swift, SwiftUI, and modern web technologies. You will work closely with fellow prototypers across AI, machine learning, UI, and app development to rapidly explore emerging technologies, prototype intelligent and AI-driven experiences, and investigate new interaction models. Our team operates as a software incubation group exploring concepts typically one to three years out - and sometimes further. We use prototypes not just to demonstrate ideas, but to discover them.
Strong interaction and visual design skillsExperience building interactive prototypes using Swift, SwiftUI, and/or web technologiesExperience designing intelligent or AI-driven user experiencesExperience with design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar creative softwareStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively in ambiguous and exploratory environments
