Summary of Job
An Implementation Project Manager's role is to guide clients through a successful implementation of eMDs software. This is accomplished through superior communication, organization, and planning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Please note that other duties may be assigned by your supervisor.
โ€ข Plans, coordinates, and tracks new customer implementation from the sales process through 30 days post go-live to ensure the successful introduction to eMDs
โ€ข Typically manages 12 to 18 small practice accounts simultaneously ranging from 1-5 providers
โ€ข Serves as the main point of contact for the office staff during implementation phase
โ€ข Coordinates efforts, timelines and services specific to individual client implementations
โ€ข Develops and maintains customer relationship through various communication methods during the process of implementation.
โ€ข Consults with customer to ascertain and define workflow needs, and determine implementation scope
โ€ข Conducts assessment of needs and issues that arise during implementation then advises the client on solutions
โ€ข Interdepartmental communication of the customer's unique implementation requirements and issues
โ€ข Address and facilitates resolution of escalated customer related issues in a timely fashion by identifying/assessing the issue and seeking assistance from the appropriate resources
โ€ข Utilize Project Management best practices to drive and further develop methodology for each assigned project
โ€ข Tracks all Project Management time used by each customer through online CRM system
โ€ข Clearly communicate expectations and collaborate effectively with technical, support and training departments within eMDs to exceed client expectations in implementation of eMDs software
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications
โ€ข Must have a general understanding of a physician office including clinical knowledge, office work flow, appointment scheduling, medical insurance billing, and collections
โ€ข Excellent organizational skills
โ€ข Excellent written and oral communication skills
โ€ข Effective time management skills
โ€ข Must be a highly motivated person that can work independently as well as being part of a team
โ€ข Proficient working with MS Office Suite of products including but not limited to Word, Excel, SharePoint
โ€ข Working knowledge of healthcare industry, especially acute care services and physician office workflow
โ€ข Ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
โ€ข Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
โ€ข Basic understanding of medical and technical terminology
Education and Experience
Associates degree preferably in a healthcare related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Language Skills
Employees are required to speak, read and write English
Physical Demands / Work Environment
All employees must be able to lift 50lbs
