Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PMP Certified Project Manager to lead large-scale, complex enterprise IT initiatives from project initiation through closeout. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing multimillion-dollar technology projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, overseeing vendors, and delivering successful outcomes using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple large, complex enterprise IT projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project management plans, including project charter, scope, schedule, cost, quality, communication, risk, issue, resource, and change management plans.
- Create, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent project management tools.
- Track project progress, manage variances, and provide regular status reporting to executive leadership and project stakeholders.
- Manage project scope, deliverables, and formal change control processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, project meetings, and governance activities as required.
- Monitor project risks and issues while implementing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee quality planning, quality assurance, testing activities, defect management, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure compliance with project governance standards, organizational policies, and industry best practices.
- Manage software implementation and application development projects through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Maintain project documentation and ensure successful project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years (84 months) of experience managing large, complex enterprise IT projects as the Project Manager.
- Experience managing projects with:
- Budgets exceeding $500,000
- Project durations exceeding 12 months
- Multiple funding sources
- Third-party vendor management
- Cross-functional stakeholder coordination
- Multi-level project teams
- Enterprise-wide system deployments across geographically distributed locations
- Minimum 7 years (84 months) of experience developing and managing:
- Project Charters
- Scope Management Plans
- Project Schedules
- Cost Management Plans
- Quality Management Plans
- Communication Plans
- Risk & Issue Management
- Resource Management
- Change Management
- Minimum 7 years (84 months) of experience developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.
- Extensive experience using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and project status meetings.
- Minimum 7 years (84 months) of experience managing project scope, deliverables, and formal change request processes.
