The Software Engineer writes and maintains code within applications and systems to implement capabilities and features, improve performance and maintainability, while reducing technical debt in alignment with product and technology roadmaps. Plays a role in Agile planning, providing advice and guidance, and monitoring emerging trends.

  • Exposure to test automation frameworks and performance tuning in high-volume retail systems.

  • Advanced knowledge inrequirementsgathering, solution architecture, system design, development, implementation, and post-production support for highly scalable, high-volume retail software.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL with relational databases (e.g.,Oracle 19c, PostgreSQL)
  • Payment & Core Retail Engines:Strong engineering background in retail-specific logic, including custom Deal & Promotion engines, loyalty programs, and direct payment integrations (e.g., ACI, Verifone,Worldpay).
  • Hands-on development and configurationexpertisein Oracle RetailXstorePOS,Xenvironment, ACI, andRTLoggenerator, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex POS application issues.
  • Ability to understand and communicate the business impact of technical issues.
