About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support large-scale infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, and platform engineering initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize cloud-native solutions, automate operational processes, and ensure the successful migration of applications and database environments.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in platform engineering, cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and database migration projects. You will play a key role in driving technical solutions that enhance reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Configure and deploy applications and services using Harness.
  • Onboard applications, environments, and accounts into HashiCorp solutions.
  • Provision service accounts and configure database access permissions.
  • Migrate database configurations and support database data migrations.
  • Integrate and onboard applications with Splunk for monitoring and observability.
  • Configure and manage DNS records to support OpenShift (OCP) container deployments.
  • Perform quality assurance testing and validate migration activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.
  • Analyze complex technical challenges and develop scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, stakeholders, and business partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support compliance, security, and operational standards throughout implementation activities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, application deployment, and platform technologies.
  • Knowledge of containerized environments, including OpenShift (OCP) and Kubernetes-based platforms.
  • Experience with database administration, configuration management, and migration activities.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and secrets management platforms, including HashiCorp products.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Harness.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of DNS management and networking concepts.
  • Experience working within highly regulated enterprise environments.
