Job description

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and daily operations of the branch. This position drives deposit and retail loan growth, customer relationship development, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and employee engagement while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Branch Manager serves as a visible representative of the Bank in the community and fosters a culture aligned with the Bank's mission, values, and strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  •  Leadership & Team Development – Lead, coach and develop branch employees to achieve individual and team goals; foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, professionalism and exceptional customer service; recruit, interview, onboard and train new employees in accordance with bank policies; and ensure staffing levels appropriately support branch operations. 
  • Sales & Business Development – Develop and execute strategies to achieve branch goals for deposits, loans and customer growth; identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships through referrals and cross-selling; promote the bank’s products and services by offering appropriate customer solutions; participate in networking events, civic organizations and community activities to enhance the Bank’s visibility and cultivate relationships.
  • Branch Operations - Direct the day-to-day operations of the branch to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and excellent service; maintain strong internal controls and operational procedures; monitor branch performance metrics and implement action plans to improve results; resolve complex customer issues promptly and professionally; oversee branch cash management and security procedures.
  • Compliance & Risk Management - Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state banking regulations and internal policies; promote a strong culture of regulatory compliance and ethical conduct; support internal and external audits and regulatory examinations; ensure timely completion of required employee training.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
