Position Summary
Oversee tool & consumable inventory and maintain OneKey software system for tracking the tools. Manage the day to day tool shop activities. Point of contact for tool requests and returns in the Tool Shop.
Role Responsibilities
  • Learn new tool tracking software and become proficient enough to train other RK employees.
  • Maintain information, data records, calibration/certifications and any other tool information on all Inventoried company tools both on jobsites and in the shop all through the OneKey tracking system.
  • Supervise employees in the Tool Shop
  • Communicate with management regarding any issues or discrepancies found.
  • Problem solve as issues come up and find solutions with minimal guidance required
  • Review on hand quantities and help coordinate tool & consumable inventory.
  • Transfer and validate the changes in tool/consumable status in the OneKey System.
  • Lead and direct tool shop employees on a daily basis.
  • Develop daily task/job lists and ensure they are completed.
  • Control communication to field and shops on order status.
  • Work with job sites on tool inventory management.
  • Ensure transactional activity of check in and out of tools is happening properly within the system.
  • Oversee the receiving and inventory of inbound tools and consumables.
  • Check orders for accuracy and quality prior to shipment.
  • Review status of tools - i.e. tools in need of repair, retires etc.

Qualifications
  • Receives indirect supervision.
  • Performs technical responsibilities.
  • Work is generally structured or recurring.
  • Objectives based on established guidelines, processes and operating procedures.
  • Entry-level position with 6 months experience in managing inventory preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously under indirect supervision
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.

Minimum Physical Requirements:
  • Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.
  • Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
  • Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
  • Work in all types of weather.
