Utility Operator
Your role:
As a Utility Operator you will be responsible for ensuring the sanitation and cleanliness of the facility and learning the skills required to operate various production systems to provide relief duties. People who successfully adapt to the work environment, job duties and safety culture of will be considered for promotion into other roles as they become available.

This work requires physical exertion, the ability to learn and follow work instructions, a good safety sense, the willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver, and a strong sense of personal accountability for all of these areas.

Your responsibilities:
Routine cleaning of floors, equipment, and outside grounds in all departments
Specialized cleaning tasks such as, but not limited to bin cleanings, sifters, conveyors, and filter sock changes, working in confined spaces, and elevated work requiring the use of fall protection
Must be willing to get cross-trained in other positions for development within the facility and to provide relief duties as needed.
Operate manufacturing systems, including multiple pieces of processing equipment
Special duties assigned by management
Basic process maintenance
Responsible for understanding and following all personnel and equipment safety policies; sanitation policies; following all corporate policies and procedures.
Must be willing and able to work additional hours which may include overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Essential skills and experience:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
Must be willing to accept accountability and work well in a team environment.
Basic computer knowledge and skills
Good to have:
Manufacturing environment experience
Machine operating experience
Troubleshooting equipment failures
Physical requirements and working conditions (with or without reasonable accommodation):
Wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe boots, gloves) and task specific PPE (respiratory protection, goggles, etc.)
Work with wheat allergens and dust.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Work outside in the elements.
Ascend and Descend stairs throughout the facility
Climb ladders (both step and extension)
