In this role, you lead and coordinate the implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles across the plant, driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and sustainable performance in all areas of production and support functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • WCM Strategy & Deployment:
  • Develop and execute the WCM roadmap for the plant.
  • Coordinate the implementation of WCM pillars (e.g., Safety, Quality, Cost Deployment, Autonomous Maintenance, Focused Improvement).
  • Ensure alignment with corporate WCM standards and objectives.
  • Training & Coaching:
  • Organize training sessions on WCM tools and methodologies.
  • Support pillar leaders and teams in applying WCM techniques.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee involvement.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Track progress of WCM initiatives and pillar maturity levels.
  • Analyse KPIs and identify gaps or opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for plant management and corporate WCM teams.

Project Management:

  • Lead cross-functional improvement projects.
  • Facilitate workshops and kaizen events.
  • Ensure timely execution and sustainability of improvement actions.
  • Audits & Assessments:
  • Prepare the plant for internal and external WCM audits.
  • Coordinate self-assessments and pillar evaluations.
  • Follow up on audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.
  • A solid 3-5 years in methods, operation excellence or continuous improvement engineering.
  • Proven experience in work analysis, assembly logistic flows, breakdown analyses, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Data analytics / Business Intelligence (BI).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in a capital or labour intensive manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in Serbian and English.
