Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PPC & Paid Social Manager based in Netherlands.

As a PPC & Paid Social Manager, you'll take ownership of performance-driven advertising campaigns for a diverse portfolio of global B2B and B2C clients. You'll manage campaigns across Google, Microsoft, Meta, and LinkedIn while using audience insights and performance data to drive measurable results. The role combines strategic thinking, hands-on campaign management, conversion tracking, and compelling ad copywriting. You'll work in a fast-growing digital marketing agency where organisation, accountability, and client impact are highly valued. With exposure to multiple industries and international audiences, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your expertise and influence paid media strategy. The position also offers a clear path toward future team or department management for someone looking to grow their leadership responsibilities.

Accountabilities
  • Plan, launch, manage, and optimise PPC and paid social campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Develop effective advertising strategies based on client objectives, audience insights, industry context, and campaign performance.
  • Set up and maintain conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager to ensure reliable campaign measurement and reporting.
  • Write compelling, results-oriented ad copy while maintaining excellent grammar, spelling, and brand consistency.
  • Interpret campaign briefs, identify missing information, ask relevant questions, and translate requirements into effective paid media campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance, identify optimisation opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to improve results and efficiency.
  • Manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of organisation and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across paid media, SEO, creative, and other digital marketing disciplines to develop integrated strategies.
  • Support the growth of the paid media function, with the opportunity to take on increasing management and leadership responsibilities.
  • Contribute to sales pitches and proposals where relevant and help communicate paid media strategies to prospective clients.
  • Explore additional advertising channels such as TikTok, Reddit, and programmatic platforms when appropriate for client objectives.
  • Develop efficient processes for campaign setup, management, optimisation, and delivery.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of professional PPC experience, ideally gained within a digital marketing agency environment.
  • Strong hands-on expertise across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Proven ability to implement conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager.
  • Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to create persuasive, performance-focused ad copy and impeccable written English.
  • Strong understanding of advertising strategy, audience segmentation, campaign optimisation, and performance marketing principles.
  • Ability to work across a broad range of industries and understand the needs of both B2B and B2C audiences in global markets.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to interpret briefs, ask questions, and work constructively with colleagues and clients.
  • Fluent English and comfortable working within a fully English-speaking, international environment.
  • Ambition to progress toward a PPC or paid media department management position.
  • Experience managing a PPC team or freelance PPC specialists within an agency is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with TikTok Ads, Reddit Ads, programmatic advertising, or other paid media channels is desirable.
  • Experience contributing to sales pitches and client proposals is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with SEO specialists to develop integrated search strategies is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with creating visual ad assets or developing briefs for designers is an advantage.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable processes for campaign setup and optimisation is desirable.
Benefits
  • Fully remote opportunity with the freedom to work from anywhere globally.
  • Only 5 hours of working-time overlap with the UK required.
  • Flexible working hours available with prior approval from your line manager.
  • UK pension scheme.
  • Opportunity to earn an additional five-figure annual commission based on performance, client retention, and other key performance indicators, paid quarterly.
  • 24 days of annual holiday plus UK bank holidays.
  • Opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of international B2B and B2C clients across multiple industries.
  • Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding digital marketing environment, including a potential path toward department management.
