SMT Engineer

Develops, reviews, and optimizes SMT processes to improve productivity and efficiency for new and existing products. Maintains production line functionality, performance, and process completeness. In addition to the following essential functions, other related tasks may be assigned.

Essential Functions:

  • Monitors SMT process effectiveness and improves efficiency by optimizing machine setup, line configurations, and program.
  • Prepares process documentation
    • Conducts failure analysis, provide corrective and preventative action recommendations.
    • Trains SMT Technicians and Machine Operators.
    • Effectively communicates with internal and external clients.
