Job description

Purpose of the position
Responsible for maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot fixtures of SMT (Surface Mount Technology, consumer electronics industry) fixtures(tools to support PCB or pressing PCB, such as: SMT Holder/Carrier/JIG).Setup SMT assembly process and validate SMT assembly station parameter. Assembly process failure analysis and corrective action implementation to improve SMT assembly process yield.  
Duties and Responsibilities
1.Fixture design: analyze and design fixture designs using CAD/UG software and propose improvements.  
2.Fixture purachse: Work cross-functionally (production,asset department) to enhance fixture arrived before built start.  
3.New fixture/tools IQC(incoming quality control):follow IQC inspection procedures to check the samples meet the specification requirement or not;
4.SMT assembly process data collection and yield improvement.
5.Lead SMT assembly failure root cause investigations and implement corrective action
6. Summarize and refine assembly process risk points for proactive improvemen
Education and work experience  :
  • Educational Requirements: Associate degree or above
Work experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in Fixture/JIG maintenance, tooling design, or precision equipment repair (electronics/smartphone manufacturing preferred).  
  • More than 1 years of assembly process improvement experience
Working conditions
  • Environment: SMT manufacturing workshop, working closely with the automation/global operations department;
  • Shift: Typically 5 days with 8-hour core working hours, flexible but occasional overtime may be required for project deadlines;
