Job description

Smoky Row Children's Center is looking for a part time teacher to join our team.
Are you an energetic, nurturing person looking for a workplace that's supportive and fun? We offer a hands on, playbased learning  experience that is full of passion and enthusiasm. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment that will allow every child to develop into a confident and competent learner.
Responsibilities of a Teacher include the following:

  • Work Monday -  Friday from 3-6PM in a preschool room
  • Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
  • Support each child’s social and emotional development
  • Establish positive and effective family relations

Qualifications

  • Shows empathy and compassion for young children.
  • Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working together toward a common goal.
  • Must be 18 and graduated from high school.
