IRG Physical & Hand Therapy is the premier provider of outpatient Physical & Hand Therapy in the Northwest. THE POSITION:
We are looking for a Occupational Therapist who is passionate about patient care and seeks continued growth in their professional skills. Our therapists evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatments to patients suffering from injuries, disabilities, or diseases to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent further injury. This role involves developing treatment plans based on medical referrals and individual patient goals.

Summary of duties:
  • Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Administer manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education.
  • Monitor and document patient progress in a timely manner, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Instruct patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies to improve recovery.
  • Must maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards.
  • Comply with federal, state, and professional regulations.
  • Document all assessments, plans, procedures, and pertinent interactions regarding the patient's treatment in physical therapy via electronic documentation system.
  • Contribute to the efficient running of the clinic by working together as a team and assisting others when needed.
  • Keep all patient interaction confidential with the informed consent of the patient.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. - Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. - CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred: 1-2 years of clinical experience. - Experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings.
  • Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations.
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical processes and responsibilities.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, coordinate, and perform a broad variety of tasks and stay focused on the objective in a high-stress environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Work for extended periods of time at a video display terminal and will be required to use a keyboard to enter and gather information.
  • Physical activity including but not limited to bending, reaching, squatting, lifting and prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Required to work at the IRG clinic and be responsible for your own transportation to and from the work site.
PAY & BENEFITS INFORMATION:
  • Base Compensation: $86,500 - $93,000 depending on experience and certifications.
  • Enhanced Compensation: We offer enhanced compensation, where therapists can earn above their base pay. Earning potential on this program allows our therapists to earn up to an additional 20% of their base salary!
