Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise in Speech-Language Pathology directly shapes students’ success throughout the school year. Working with a diverse K-6 population, as well as some middle and high school students, you’ll focus on general education and speech improvement—providing tailored support without the added complexity of nonverbal cases. The role is full-time, allowing you ample time to build rapport and make lasting impacts across age ranges.

You’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and families who value your contributions, finding solutions tailored to each student’s communication needs. While past experience has shown that virtual therapy isn’t ideal for younger students, openness to remote work may be considered if absolutely necessary.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure/certification required for school-based practice
  • Proven expertise working within school settings, ideally spanning K-12 populations
  • Comfortable developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and tracking student progress
  • Flexibility for in-person work; some willingness to consider virtual if required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech/language therapy focused on general education improvements
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop customized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
  • Collaborate seamlessly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain detailed records of interventions and student progress
  • Adapt approaches for middle and high school students where necessary

Your skills will empower students to achieve communicative independence, fostering engagement and confidence in both classroom and social settings. If you’re looking for a school-based SLP position where you can truly see the difference you make every day, we encourage you to apply now and help students find their voice!

Compensation for this position ranges from $41.72 to $61.72. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
