Job description

Job Title - Speech Language Pathologist
Location - Loganville, GA, 30052
Employment Type: Full Time
Schedule: Mon- Fri, General Shift
Salary: Open
Job Description:
The SLP works within an integrated team to provide specialized communication therapy to children with Autism and other developmental delays. This role is highly collaborative, working alongside BCBAs to integrate functional communication into the child's daily ABA programming.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and feeding evaluations.
โ€ข Therapy Delivery: Provide 1:1 treatment for expressive/receptive language, articulation, pragmatics, and fluency.
โ€ข AAC Integration: Assess for and implement Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices for non-verbal or minimally verbal clients.
โ€ข Collaborative Planning: Coordinate with BCBAs to ensure communication goals align with behavioral intervention plans.
โ€ข Parent Coaching: Empowers families with strategies to facilitate language development in the home environment.
Requirements
โ€ข Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
โ€ข Licensure: Valid Georgia State SLP License.
โ€ข Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CF-SLPs may be considered based on supervisor availability).
โ€ข Experience: Previous pediatric or ABA-integrated experience is a plus.
