Hours: Monday - Friday 10:30pm - 7am
Pay $17.00 per hour 

Position Summary
The Slitter Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring slitting equipment to accurately cut foam and other materials to specified widths and dimensions. This position requires strong attention to detail, accurate measurement skills, and the ability to follow production specifications while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate slitting equipment to cut foam and materials according to work orders and production specifications.
  • Set up and adjust the slitter machine for different material sizes, widths, and production requirements.
  • Read work orders, measurements, and production instructions to ensure accurate cuts.
  • Measure and verify finished material using tape measures and other measurement tools.
  • Monitor machine operation and material flow throughout the production process.
  • Inspect finished cuts for accuracy and consistency.
  • Load, position, and safely handle foam and other production materials.
  • Make minor machine adjustments as needed to maintain proper operation.
  • Identify material defects or machine issues and report them to the supervisor.
  • Minimize material waste while maintaining production speed and accuracy.
  • Label, organize, and stage finished materials for the next stage of production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
  • Perform routine cleaning and basic operator maintenance on equipment.
  • Work as part of a production team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating slitting, cutting, or production machinery preferred.
