Job description

Join the Sleep Fitness Movement
At Eight Sleep, we're on a mission to fuel human potential through optimal sleep. As the world's first sleep fitness company, we build the most advanced hardware, software, and AI technology to help people sleep and recover better. Our members include world-class athletes, founders, and health-obsessed high performers across 30+ countries. We operate like a high-performance team: fast, focused, and obsessed with the details.
This role is staffed and managed by Lime Media, Eight Sleep's experiential activation partner. You will be employed by Lime Media and work onsite representing the Eight Sleep brand.
The Role
We're launching our first mobile showroom in the San Francisco Bay Area, an intimate, one-on-one Pod demo experience that meets consumers at their offices, outside their home in the driveways, and neighborhoods. As an Eight Sleep Advisor, you are the face of this activation and the reason someone goes from curious to convinced.
Your role is to deliver an educational, immersive, and exciting experience to every guest, guiding them through the Pod's technology, consulting on how it fits their lifestyle, and facilitating a seamless sale. The Pod is a premium, high-consideration product. The people who excel in this role are consultative sellers: they listen first, identify needs, and position Eight Sleep as the answer to a problem the guest didn't fully know they had. This position begins mid-June.
What You'll Do
  • Lead guided up to 30-minute Pod demos - greeting each guest by name and delivering a personalized experience from the moment they walk in.
  • Close on-site sales, walk guests through pricing, financing options, and delivery details with confidence and clarity
  • Adapt your approach to each guest - some walk in ready to buy, others are just curious. Read the room and meet them wherever they are in the purchasing journey
  • Represent Eight Sleep with the energy, knowledge, and polish of someone who genuinely believes in the product - because you will sleep on it yourself
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets. Your performance is measured by conversion rate, guest feedback, and total sales

What You'll Bring
  • Energetic, personable, and confident running one-on-one demos where the entire experience depends on you
  • Comfortable talking about technology in a way that's accessible and exciting, not clinical
  • A consultative sales style: you listen first, identify needs, and make the product feel like the obvious next step
  • Strong closer who can navigate pricing conversations, financing questions, and last-minute hesitation without being pushy
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, or willing to relocate for the duration of the program
  • Highly reliable - you show up early, you're always prepared, and you treat every demo like it's the most important one of the day
  • Comfortable being evaluated: mystery shops, weekly conversion tracking, and guest feedback are part of the job

Bonus Points
  • A passion for sleep, wellness, biohacking, or fitness - you already speak the language of our customer
  • Prior experiential marketing or luxury retail experience where the client relationship drives the sale
  • Comfortable on camera for social content and organic moments during demos
  • An existing network in SF's tech and wellness community
  • Drive the mobile showroom between demo locations

Training
  • Two-day onboarding covering the demo script, Pod technology, objection handling, pricing and financing, and POS purchase flow
  • Visit to the Eight Sleep San Francisco or NYC office to learn engineering specifics from the team and sleep on a Pod yourself

What's in It for You
  • Daily pay plus per diem, with commission on every Pod sale you close
  • 3-5 activation days per week, up to 8 hours per day
  • 3 to 6 month engagement with the potential to extend as the program scales to new markets
  • Be part of Eight Sleep's first experiential retail launch - a career-defining activation, not a gig
  • Work alongside a sharp, fast-moving team that's changing how the world thinks about sleep
  • A Pod of your own

This role is staffed and managed by Lime Media, Eight Sleep's experiential activation partner. You will be employed by Lime Media and work onsite representing the Eight Sleep brand.
