POSITION SUMMARY
Energetic individuals are encouraged to apply to our Support Staff positions. Applicants will be considered for all Food and Beverage locations based on need, skills, experience and ability as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Organize and correctly garnish and compile food orders from kitchen
  • Deliver food to tables with knowledge of table numbers and steps of service
  • Assist wait staff as needed
  • Stock necessary supplies
  • Perform shift opening tasks that include: setting tables, opening doors, set up service station
  • Bus tables and reset throughout shift
  • Perform shift closing tasks that include: bussing all tables, changing out dishware for next shift, roll silverware for adequate stock in restaurant
  • Greet and guide customers to seats
  • All job responsibilities need to be completed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external at all times and follow the Resort Etiquette Guidelines while interacting with the guest and respond to all guests in a courteous efficient manner)
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 years of previous work history/education required
  • Must have good organizational skills
  • Must maintain a professional well-groomed appearance
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s Service Excellence standards
  • Must read and write and communicate verbally in the English language
  • Must have Colorado approved Alcohol Server Training certificate or must attend a Colorado approved alcohol server training educational seminar within 30 days of employment
  • Must have current Food Handler and Allergy training certificate, or must attend Food Handler and Aller-train certification courses for Alterra Mountain company within 14 days of employment

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay: Starting at $12.14 per hour plus tips
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Intermediate skiing/riding ability required for certain locations
  • Must lift and carry up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Must be minimum 16 years of age
  • Must stand for long periods of time
