OVERVIEW
The Warehouse Associate for Singer H&R in Meridian, MS is responsible for efficiently managing the storage, handling, and distribution of food service products within the warehouse. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of orders, maintains inventory integrity, and upholds safety and quality standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying, and recording incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and products within the warehouse
  • Assist with warehouse distribution activities, including sorting, organizing, and storing inventory
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of products and making sure products are undamaged, safe and secure
  • Ensure order fulfillment by maintaining accurate inventory records and completing necessary paperwork
  • Assist with general warehouse tasks as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
  • Physical abilities including heavy lifting will be required. Climbing, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Familiarity with warehouse or distribution center preferred
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Team player, reliable, dependable, and willing to work
  • Proficient in using RF scanners for inventory management
  • Having an acceptable driving record is a plus to be insurable for our company vehicles in case you participate in deliveries and/or transfers
