OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team at Singer Equipment Company, a leading foodservice equipment dealer. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Contract Sales teams by managing the kitchen equipment construction phase of the contract project. Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring the project is completed as planned and meets or exceeds the customer's expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, a deep understanding of food service operations and excellent communication skills, ability to work with the customer's construction team and contractors to maintain project schedules and communicate progress to internal team and external customers from project start up through punch list completion
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Problem Solving: Identify potential challenges in the construction process, offer potential solutions, and communicate both challenges and solutions efficiently and effectively to internal and external project team.
  • Conduct pre-construction, progress and close-out meetings.
  • Review KEC drawing and equipment package to address any discrepancies or potential challenges.
  • Review and approve shop drawings for hoods, walk-ins, beer systems, custom fabrication.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer's construction team and contractors ensuring effective communication throughout the lifecycle of the project to create a seamless project with a strong finish.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • College degree or comparable experience.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience in the food equipment industry.
  • 3-5 years of experience reading CAD drawings.
  • Experience using Bluebeam
  • Familiarity with local building codes and health regulations related to food service operations
  • Strong understanding of foodservice equipment and operations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
