Join Our Dynamic Team!  We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team at our Roseville, California location. Reporting to our Finance Manager, this role will be a detail-oriented professional responsible for supporting the financial operations of an organization. They handle routine accounting tasks such as processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with payroll or budget tracking. By ensuring transactions are recorded correctly and on time, accounting clerks help maintain the integrity of financial data and contribute to smooth day-to-day business operations. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of accounting principles are essential in this role.

Typical responsibilities include budgeting, financial analysis, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and preparing financial statements. By maintaining strong internal controls and clear financial visibility, the accounting team plays a vital role in supporting the organization's stability, growth, and strategic planning to influence outcomes. 

Pay Range

$26.88 - $30.92

Key Accountabilities

Perform day-to-day invoicing for inbound/outbound materials and customer sales (wholesale and ecommerce).
Create monthly client statements and process refunds as needed.
Ensure timely settlement of shipments to meet established SLAs.
Handle data extraction requests related to past client settlements.
Support process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Collaborate with sales teams to resolve invoicing and settlement issues.
Prepare and distribute monthly reports to management.
Verify customer creditworthiness; approve sales orders and credit memos.
Assist with month-end close, including accrual spreadsheet preparation.
Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Act as a liaison between management, auditors, and operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
At least 3 years of accounting experience including clients/customers, AR follow-up
Prior experience using computer accouting systems
Key Performance Indicator (KPIs):
Meeting Settlement SLAs
Provision of clear rationale and actions to rectify where issues prevent settlement
Processes up to date and accurate
Number of efficiency improvements identified
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word and Excel
Competency in Adobe Acrobat
High degree of detail, accuracy, and personal accountability
Ability to communicate and work effectively with co-workers
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet various deadlines
Ability to work independently
Microsoft Dynamics/Navision experience preferred
