This includes tracking the acquisition, deployment, usage, maintenance, and disposal of hardware and software assets. The role ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations, supporting efficient asset utilization and cost control.
Primary Duties
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets (hardware and software) using asset
management tools.
• Coordinate the procurement, receiving, deployment, and return of IT equipment.
• Monitor and reconcile asset records with physical inventory and financial systems.
• Track software licenses, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
• Manage the asset lifecycle from acquisition through disposal.
• Work closely with IT support, procurement, and finance teams to ensure timely updates to
asset records.
• Assist in conducting periodic physical audits of IT equipment.
• Generate reports related to asset usage, lifecycle status, and compliance metrics.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes by provisioning and reclaiming IT equipment.
