Position Summary:

As a member of the Signature Verification Team, you will use a Windows computer and proprietary software to compare signatures on ballot return envelopes with voter signatures on file in the voter registration system. Some computer skills are required, including the ability to use Microsoft Windows, a mouse, and keyboard. This position requires the ability to sit and work at a computer for an entire day, with hourly breaks, and may include other duties as assigned. Employees must successfully complete the required Signature Verification training class and daily audits to continue working in the position. Training will be provided on the first day of work.


Job Description:

  • Training will be provided on your first day
  • Use a computer to navigate voter registration database and access voter signatures
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while using a computer for prolonged periods of time with hourly breaks Compare signatures on ballot return envelopes with signatures on file in the voter registration system
  • Apply challenge codes to the signatures that need additional review
  • Produce consistent results in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and procedures


Essential Physical Characteristics:

Ability to sit at a computer 8 hours per day with hourly breaks.
