About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, performance driven individual to join our expanding team as a Sign Permit Coordinator. The Sign Permit Coordinator is responsible for reviewing and understanding local code, overseeing the application, approval, and compliance processes related to signage permits. This role ensures that all Cirrus Sign Projects receive permit approvals that adhere to local zoning regulations, city codes, and design guidelines, while facilitating effective communication between customers, city departments, and other internal and external stakeholders.

This role is fully on-site in our Las Colinas, TX office. Our Team thrives on in-office collaboration and real-time work, with standard hours Monday through Friday.

Role Responsibilities
  • Code Review: Review local zoning and code restrictions associated with specific parcels of land. Assess implementation or suggest revisions to the scope of work.

  • Permit Application Management: Review and process sign permit applications for accuracy and compliance with local regulations, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on signage regulations at local, state, and federal levels; coordinate site surveys with the project manager.

  • Communication and Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for customers and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and collaborating with city planners and zoning officials to facilitate approvals.

  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of permit applications and inspections; prepare reports and documentation for stakeholders as needed.

  • Problem Solving: Resolve issues or disputes during the permit process promptly; offer alternative design recommendations when current designs do not meet code.
