Job Description:
SimIS is seeking contractor SME support to provide technical and analytical support to Operational Test and Evaluation Force (T&E) in the definition, conduct, and analysis of structured Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of US Navy Undersea Warfare systems. As the Junior Test and Evaluation Analyst, you will apply current knowledge of the Navy and multi-service missions, operations, logistics, management, and organizational responsibilities to plan and organize work tasks leading to the successful execution of test planning, collecting data, and performing reconstruction and analysis for complex test and evaluation projects.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or data science, or related field.
  • 2 years of T&E Experience, such as Integrated Evaluation Framework (IEF) development, Test Plan Development, Test Execution, Test Analysis and Reporting, and Modeling and Simulation experience supporting developmental or operational testing.
  • 2 years of system-level experience operating/maintaining/testing of USW systems.
  • Current working knowledge of the Navy and multi-service missions, operations, logistics, management, and organizational responsibilities.
Technical Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead effectively within the naval community and have a demonstrated ability to communicate the results of the operational analysis to sponsoring activities and decision makers.
  • DAWIA T&E Level I or equivalent certification is desirable.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
