Short-Form Producer

Airrack

North Hollywood, CA • On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 17 days ago

Job description

ABOUT AIRRACK
Airrack is a tight-knit team that pulls off ambitious, innovative YouTube videos that get millions of views. We're creative, gritty, and passionate about making content no one else dares to. We work hard, have a great time doing it, and we're always pushing to see how far digital storytelling can go!
THE ROLE
We're hiring a short-form producer to lead Eric's presence on TikTok and Instagram. This role is focused on fast, culturally relevant, daily-postable content - not high-production cinematic Shorts. The ideal candidate has a deep, instinctual understanding of what works on the For You Page and Reels feed, and can turn an idea into a published video the same day using nothing more than an iPhone and a mobile editor.
The right person is comfortable working independently, has a strong point of view on trends and formats, and is energized by volume and speed rather than long post-production cycles. This is a hands-on role that involves traveling with Eric to capture content on location, ideating in the moment, and posting consistently across platforms.
HOW TO APPLY
Watch this video before submitting: https://youtu.be/qz-8AjlZ4IY
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Ideate, shoot, edit, and publish daily short-form content for TikTok and Instagram
  • Travel with Eric to shoots, events, and trips to capture content on location
  • Identify emerging trends, sounds, and formats early, and adapt them quickly while they are still relevant
  • Produce videos independently using mobile-first tools (iPhone, CapCut, or equivalents)
  • Own the content calendar and posting cadence across platforms
  • Analyze performance data and iterate on hooks, formats, and pacing based on what is working
  • Collaborate with the broader Airrack team to align short-form strategy with the main channel

What We're Looking For
  • Demonstrated experience growing a TikTok or Instagram account, page, or personality, with measurable results
  • A sharp, current understanding of social media trends, formats, and audience behavior
  • Strong fluency with CapCut or comparable mobile editing tools
  • The ability to write strong hooks and structure a video for retention in the first three seconds
  • A self-directed, high-output working style - you do not need detailed creative briefs to ship
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours
  • Willingness to relocate to Los Angeles

Nice to Have
  • Experience producing social content for a creator, talent, brand, or public-facing personality
  • Background in directing or mobile-first cinematography
  • An established personal presence on TikTok or Instagram

Benefits
Why Join Us?
  • Be part of a groundbreaking team creating content that millions of viewers love
  • Direct creative ownership over a major creator's short-form presence
  • Travel, access, and a front-row seat to ambitious productions
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and meaningful room for growth within the organization
