Job description

For over 30 years, Angi has powered the future of the home services industry, creating an environment where homeowners and pros benefit from more jobs done well.

For homeowners, our platform is a reliable way to find skilled pros. For pros, we're a reliable business partner who helps them find the winnable work they want, when they want. For employees, we're an amazing place to call home. We can't wait to welcome you.

Angi at a glance:

  • Founded in 1995 as Angie’s List and rebranded in 2021

  • Global company with 9 brands in 8 countries and employees worldwide

  • Homeowners have turned to us for 300 million home projects and counting

About the team:

This is a unique opportunity to join the Retail Partnerships team, the driver behind one of Angi's highest growth revenue opportunity streams. Our team has a proven track record of building and managing successful integrations with industry leaders like Walmart, Lowe’s, Wayfair, and many others. We are now at a pivotal inflection point as we transition our Shopify business line from a successful pilot into a dedicated scaling phase.

We are looking for a results-oriented contributor to drive our next phase of expansion. In this role, you will operate within an entrepreneurial environment supported by the resources of an industry leader, with a primary focus on scaling the Shopify ecosystem and closing new merchant partnerships. As you drive growth and bring new partners into the fold, you will be a key source of insight—providing the critical feedback leadership needs to refine our processes and long-term strategy. We work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Ops, Strategy, and Legal to ensure assembly and installation services are a seamless, 'one-click' reality for every merchant in our pipeline.

While this is a remote position, we are a global company and are looking for applicants located in eastern or central time zones to align with our team's working hours.

What you’ll do:

As the Partner Manager, you will serve as the primary driver of growth for the end-to-end Shopify merchant lifecycle. You will spearhead a high-velocity acquisition and optimization engine, navigating partners from initial outreach through technical implementation and account optimization, to ensure our partners are positioned for maximum success. Your ultimate objective is to lead a high-impact funnel that achieves our strategic revenue milestones.

  • Drive the continuous expansion of Angi’s merchant database by identifying and qualifying top-tier Shopify Plus prospects.

  • Lead the execution of automated outreach strategies to drive merchant acquisition at scale. You will manage the end-to-end communication flow, from initial cold touch to scheduled discovery calls and closing communications, optimizing every step of the journey to build a robust and predictable revenue pipeline.

  • Own the 'handshake' between initial interest and a live integration. You will guide new merchants through the operational setup, delivering data-driven pricing strategies that highlight Angi’s value proposition while ensuring a seamless technical onboarding experience for the merchant.

  • Own the post-launch partner lifecycle by implementing a 90-day optimization plan designed to deliver a best-in-class onboarding and ramping experience.

  • Regularly audit partner performance data to catch and resolve issues before they scale. You will act as the rapid-response lead for any sudden revenue-impacting events, conducting deep-dive diagnostics and coordinating with internal teams to implement timely solutions.

  • Serve as a core architect of the Shopify growth engine. You will be responsible for identifying gaps in our current processes and iterating on the 'Day-to-Day Playbook' to drive efficiency.

Who you are:

  • 2–3+ years of professional experience in business development, partnerships, account management, or a quota-carrying sales role.

  • Scrappy and resourceful — you figure things out, ask for help when you need it, and don't wait to be told what to do.

  • You're analytical and data-driven — you use performance data to identify trends, flag risks early, and make the case for what's working and what isn't.

  • You've worked in tech, SaaS, a marketplace, or another fast-moving, high-growth environment — you know what it's like to operate without a fully built playbook.

  • You’ve experienced managing your sales through integration and success — identifying optimizations and working with your clients to grow their accounts.

  • Familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem or e-commerce landscape is a plus; you don't need to be an expert, but you can get up to speed fast.

We value diversity

Compensation & Benefits

  • The salary band for this position ranges from $70,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location.

  • This position will be eligible for a competitive performance bonus.

  • Full medical, dental, vision package to fit your needs

  • Flexible vacation policy; work hard and take time when you need it

  • Pet discount plans & retirement plan with company match (401K)

  • The rare opportunity to work with sharp, motivated teammates solving some of the most unique challenges and changing the world
