Job description

A busy machine shop/metal fabricator located in Trevose, PA is currently seeking a Production Planner to join their team. Salary range: $75K-$85K.   Hours: 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri.

 This person will help facilitate, organize and monitor production operations. This position is an integral part of our operation and acts as a gateway for all sales orders and production work. Knowledge of Machine Shop or Metal Fabrication processes is required.

Required experience:  Production planning: 3 years; ERP systems: 2 years (Sage Mas 100 Preferred); Supply chain: 2 years. Job requirements: Experience in a machine or fab shop environment; Extensive knowledge of Planning Principles - shop floor scheduling, capacity planning, MRP & Order Point; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with all levels of internal and external customers; Able to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks; Basic understanding of engineering drawings & bill of materials; Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word. APICS - CPIM Certification (Preferred).
