Job description

Job Description:

  • Holds tape measure, and marks reference points to assist in layout
  • Loads, stacks and transports raw material and tools
  • Picks up and trucks scrap form work areas
  • Assists Journeyman when forming large parts
  • Responsible for shakeout and tagging parts
  • Operates a forklift
  • Assists operators on press brake and other equipment
  • Posses a mechanical aptitude
  • Have basic math skills
  • Able to work independently and with others
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods on concrete floors
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
  • Forklift operations (preferred).

Essential Mental Functions:

Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.

Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.

Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities.

Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.

Works effectively in a team environment.

Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.

Essential Physical Functions:

Lift up to 50lbs.

Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.

Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
