Job Description
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to find a Shop Helper for a full service metal treating facility in Tualatin, OR.
This position is 40 hours a week LOTS of room for growth!
SHOP HELPER
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Training in various roles throughout the shop
  • Transport parts to staging area for production using equipment such as forklifts, hoists, or pallet jacks.
  • Load, unload, wash, and stack production parts to prepare for heat treatment.
  • Unpack and re-pack finished parts in containers for shipment.
  • Assist with shipping / receiving duties
  • Operate equipment to clean parts.
  • Communicate problems to supervisor and operator.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices and keep area orderly.
  • Straighten parts and help furnace/machine operators
  • Other duties and training as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Basic forklift experience needed
  • Able to lift up to 20-50lbs
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Good attendance and great attitude!
  • Attention to detail
  • Some computer skills needed for the data entry and order form organization
  • Able to be on your feet for shift
  • Bending, pushing, pulling

Details:
  • Day Shift
  • Open to some flexibility but around 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • Monday - Friday
  • 40 hours a week
  • $19 - $20/hr to start and lots of room for wage growth
  • This can be a "stepping stone" position you'll be trained on the machinery to eventually be moved into more responsibility and wage growth if you are interested!
