What is a shop clerk?

Shop clerks, also known as retail sales associates or store clerks, are employees who assist customers in retail stores by providing information, processing transactions, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean shopping environment. They play a key role in customer service by answering questions, recommending products, and ensuring shoppers have a positive experience. Shop clerks may also help with inventory management, price tagging, and store displays. Their responsibilities can vary depending on the type and size of the store.
